

Valve’s marketing VP Doug Lombardi has revealed that the studio is currently in the process of working out cross-gameplay between Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, allowing the two games to lock together like a gestalt and form Devastator. Steam Controller’s Default Config Layout has been revamped to be much closer to Xbox 360 Control Scheme.

This can be turned off within the Controller Configurator. At least try to learn to use a keyboard and mouse, it’s far more robust and precise compared to a controller. Then while the controller’s plugged in, start the game and go into Options>Keyboard and Mouse and Enable the Gamepad. Plug in the 360 controller and make sure you’ve downloaded the software from the Microsoft Hardware website. This works until I go over to with them, and they laugh at me because I suck with the gamepad. Stick with the mouse and keyboard and laugh at them.

Just go to the config folder and open 360controller.cfg with notepad. You do NOT need to go out and buy a 360 controller and download any drivers. It’s pretty simple, see the video!
